Winter Blues

Hat | Primark
Top & Skirt | H&M
Boots | Unif

This weekend's weather has officially been miserable, wet and just generally crap! It can be so easy to get into a routine of wearing jeans, boots and jumpers when the weather is constantly like this; don't get me wrong it is extremely comfortable and looks nice, but can be a bit repetitive and boring after a while.

So I have been trying to jazz up my every day outfits and found this long maxi skirt a winner for replacing my trusty skinny jeans! It obviously isn't as warm as jeans, but is a great alternative when going shopping indoors or out for lunch. Teamed with a sparkly high neck crop top and my trusty platform boots and i'm good to go.

With the weather turning and already having suffered from a nasty cold, I have noticed my skin isn't looking too great lately. I love a good highlighter and felt this is what my skin needed to bring it back to life! (As well as a face mask from Lush) So after rummaging through my make-up box for some inspiration I came across my Benefit Rockateur blush powder. I haven't used it in a while so thought i'd give it a whirl! I'm so glad I did as I forgot how great this highlighter powder is. Just one sweep over each cheek is all that's required to get an instant natural glow.

When is there a more appropriate time of year to wear this amazing 'Season of the witch' dress than around Halloween? The talented Georgina Verity, owner of MXCI, has launched an amazing A/W collection. Gothic colours and pentagram detailing combined with 70's flares and velour textures sums up the brand, which is all designed and handmade by Georgina herself. Coachella Dreaming

Hat | Boohoo
Top | Asos
Trousers | New Look
Bag | H&M
Necklaces | Blackmoon Shop
Left Hand Rings | Primark & Norbu
Right Hand Rings | Primarks & Blackmoon Shop

I don't know about everyone else but seeing all the lovely pictures from Coachella last weekend has got me dreaming of holidays and festivals! I've acquired some amazing jewellery in the last couple of weeks which goes perfectly with all my summer outfits.

Blackmoon shop have kindly sent me some amazing jewellery, including all the necklaces i'm wearing in this post. If you're looking for bohemian/grungy jewellery then Blackmoon Shop is the place to look! I've layered my necklaces and jewellery up to really get that festival/boho vibe.

Now let's talk about my amazing trousers. They are the comfiest things in the world! At first i wasn't sure i would be able to pull off the wide palazzo trouser look, as i feel it can make you look dumpy if you are short like myself. However, worn with a fitted crop top to balance the loose fit trousers out has surprised me, and i feel like this is a perfect outfit for my holidays, with the added bonus of it being super comfy. I'm definitely going to invest in a few pairs of these!

Last but not least, i have been thinking about trying burgundy eye shadow for quite a while after seeing lots of amazing pins on Pinterest. I'm not the most adventurous person when it comes to eye shadows, however i'm a pro at winged eyeliner! With my eye shadow i normally stick to browns, and i'm definitely no pro when it comes to blending. However with this eye shadow i literally just swept the one colour over my eyelids and that was it; so much easier than i thought! As my eye shadow was quite dark i wore Limecrime's Cashmere on my lips, my favourite nudey lipstick at the moment.

Bohemian Vibes

Dress | Missguided
Shoes | Garage Shoes

    Necklaces | H&M

 Left | Rings | Primark & Norbu

Right | Rings | Blackmoon Shop & Topshop

Do I dare say that summer is officially here in the UK? A bold statement but I think it's safe to say the weather is looking pretty sweet for the foreseeable future! So as the weather was so gorgeous this Easter bank holiday I slapped some tan on and got my pins out in this beauty of a dress; yes it isn't the most summery of colours but the tassels and suede material made me feel like a bohemian princess! The tassel details are right up my street and is going to be a perfect outfit for my jollys in 5 weeks time too.

I wore it with my chunky white heels and dark red lipstick to give it my staple grungy look, along with stacks of silver rings of course. One item that i intend to add to this outfit though is this amazing little vintage style bag from Asos; this is going to be a perfect accessory for my holiday wardrobe too!

January Pinspiration

Here are some photos that have inspired me this last month...

I am still loving grey/silver hair, but have been informed it's pretty much impossible for me to go this colour! So I am sticking to my classic red hair, oh well I can a girl can keep pining...

As someone who isn't the best at eye makeup, I feel that even I would be able pull off the burgundy eyeshadow as there's not much blending or shading to do! I love how different it is from typical eyeshadow colours, I can't wait to give it a whirl.

As summer is fast approaching and with my first holiday booked I can't help but start looking at potential holiday clothes. The cream lace playsuit is dreamy and would be a perfect holiday outfit! It is very daring but beautiful; the cut out back is especially amazing.

To see what I pin on a daily basis follow me on Pinterest Chloeflo :)

Buy of the Month: Over the Knee Boots

Top & Skirt | Topshop
Boots | River Island

After a few weeks of trying to get hold of these AMAZING over the knee boots, i struck lucky when i got hold of the last pair in my size last week. I don't know what it is, but when i want something and it sells out, it makes me want it even more!

There are plenty of over the knee boots knocking about on the high street at the moment, but what i love about these ones from River Island is the chunky sole and the soft velvet material. It makes them ever so versatile, as the low heel means i can wear them in the day casually, but because they are velvet i can also dress them up as i have done in my pictures.

I can't wait to wear this outfit over Christmas as it's so festive and sparkly; the boots are the perfect touch for a semi-dressy evening out. Throw on my black fur coat and a feather handbag and i'm sorted! Bring on Christmas :)

November Wintery Wish List

Top to bottom, left to right:
                                                              Dress - Topshop
Shoes - River Island
Choker - Regal Rose
 Feather cape - Regal Rose
Coat - River Island
Bag - Topshop

Sparkles, feathers, metallic, velvet, leather, jewels, wool, sequins...a few reasons why I love the winter season! I can't get enough of all the different textures this season brings and how much fun it is to put together a winter wardrobe.

Metallic sparkles in emerald green, deep burgundy, gunmetal grey and luxurious aubergines are the colours that have caught my eye this season. I love love LOVE the River Island heels above, the subtle shimmer and cut out detailing make it my party shoe of the season. Teamed with the metallic pyramid Topshop bag, which is so simple yet the shape is so fun, takes any outfit from meh to magnificent!

I am also not disappointed by the newest long awaited collection by Regal Rose; it is as grungy yet glamorous as ever and I literally want everything. The statement feather cape has to be the winner for me however, just throw it over a black dress and voila! A one of a kind fabulous outfit that will be sure to turn heads.
